What we do
Enterprise Foods Bridge the gap between Great Local Suppliers and National Customers. There are six pillars to the bridge that simplify the supply of local products.
We are constantly expanding our supply base to meet customer and consumer needs.
Enterprise Foods have a network of regional operations managers uniquely placed across the UK whose job is to bring local suppliers to market. Each is an expert in their area and have built relationships with the local suppliers near them.
We are constantly sourcing new suppliers and our portfolio of over 500 suppliers and 18,000+ products covers all food and drink product categories:
- Craft Bakery
- Craft Beer
- Craft Cider
- Soft Drinks
- Nuts & Snacks
- Sweets & confectionery
Grocery Supply Code of Practice (GSCOP) is an integral part of the business and we treat our obligations under the practice very seriously. Dealing with many suppliers, GSCOP is at the forefront of our day to day planning and the team are trained each year to ensure all employees are aware of the legislation.
Your supply chain is accredited and managed.
Enterprise Foods has simplified the process of ensuring food safety, food quality and compliance for your local food and drink supply with its innovative technical service offering you one point of contact for all your local suppliers.
Enterprise Foods technical activities are certified against the BRC Global Standard for Agents & Brokers providing:
- Independent recognition of the procedures, systems and controls we have
- Strengthening of the due diligence on our supply chain
- Assurances that we will stay at the forefront of the industry’s best practices
This streamlined service, supported by regional operations managers & our partnership with SALSA, ensures consistent compliance throughout the supply base.
In addition to approving and monitoring all our suppliers, we also provide them with some technical support, helping them reach the required standards expected from them (legislation, labelling, allergens, nutritional information, technical requirements, 3rd party certification like SALSA).
The advantages to our customers are immense. The need for accreditation of individual suppliers is removed and administration costs are minimised. Customers have ease of access to a pre-approved list of accredited suppliers, resulting in increased efficiency and profitability.
Simplifying the complexity of dealing with multiple customers and suppliers.
We make the difficult and complicated look easy. The supply of local products can be very complicated with short shelf life products, small order volumes and varying levels of logistic capabilities.
Having Enterprise Foods manage the supply chain of all your local suppliers makes it simple. Centralised ordering, invoiceing and payment substantially reduces and simplifies all your supplier purchasing administration.
Behind Enterprise Foods is a massive complexity that our customers do not see. We have a dedicated business support and invoicing team to handle all processes and an IT system that has been uniquely and continuously developed to efficiently and effectively process orders and payments reducing the complexity for both our customers and suppliers.
Our teams know and understand your business.
Simplifying the complexity of dealing with multiple customers and suppliers our dedicated customer service team are here to buffer you from all but the most essential matters and to provide answers to any queries you may have.
